It looks humorously at dysfunctional family relationships and the intricousies of family life.

Taken from Critics review

Fun Home is described as "a fresh, daring new musical based on the acclaimed graphic novel by Alison Bechdel. When her father dies unexpectedly, graphic novelist Alison dives deep into her past to tell the story of the volatile, brilliant, one-of-a-kind man whose temperament and secrets defined her family and her life. Moving between past and present, Alison relives her unique childhood playing at the family’s Bechdel Funeral Home, her growing understanding of her own sexuality and the looming, unanswerable questions about her father's hidden desires."

After seeing the trailers on our local news channels,

I thought

I knew what to expect. I was OVERWHELMED by the production! I can hardly remember the first 5 minutes as I had to watch through teared-up eyes...it was absolutely PHENOMENAL! I could sit through the show twice a day everyday and still not see everything! What an amazing cast and first class show! Someone asked me who my favorite character was. I can't pick just one because each brought their own uniqueness to the story! I will remember this show forever and will go back again!
Favorite moment: Watching my 8 year old being mesmerized! I guess my favorite parts included Timone and Pumba.
